RuneScape Brings Memorial To Guthix

RuneScape has decided to add an interesting new layer to its Divination training regimen. As the game now is giving you the chance to find memories of Guthix himself, and then show them off to the world. Note, you must be a registered RuneScape member to partake in this.

 

So, how does this work? Well, as you progress through your normal Divination training, you’ll start to receive an item called a memory strand. This is in fact, a new kind of item, and it’ll be automatically stored in your pouch.

 

These strands are very important, as they are the raw material of the memories of Guthix himself. They can be used with various flavors of divine energy to activate 12 engrams. The engrams will be able to reveal memories of Guthix after he had ascended to godhood.

 

As for how to start all of this. You’ll need to speak to Orla Fairweather at the divination stie. She’ll set you on the path to hunting down the engrams. Charge them, then return them to the memorial to activate echo plinths. Once you do that, you’ll get Divination XP and oodles of Guthixian lore. Which again will allow you to glimpse the life of Guthix, plus, you’ll get some special Divination Rewards.

 

Such as what? Well, you’ll get special boosts and buffs for each engram you activate, as well as be able to get increased XP from divination sites. If you collect all 12, you’ll get a huge boost of divination XP, be able to activate another reward, and get a wing cape.

 

So, if you partake in Divination, get ready for a whole new experience.
