Runescape! They should effect ALL Seren spells

However, the sapphire aura(...) is not very useful due to how the prisms are still very impractical to use most specifically, the loyalty prism...The amount of lifepoints it can hold is too little for a decent sized team and the area of effect is too little.

The most useful aura appears to be emerald. However, I thought that the damage reduction would be made to go up to 10% and not just stay at five percent...The stack just feels to miniscule to warrant use, especially since the spell does lower damage than barrages...


It can be seen why they would do this...All ancient spells have a 5% effect...But it has long since been thought that the blitz and barrage ancients should have a 10% effect.


The ruby aura is probably the worst of them all. It gives a 1% damage buff to all other players, capping at 3%...


The area of effect is far too small to be useful, players would practically have to stand next to eachother in order to receive the buff...and if you need a team to fight, you will probably move around a lot making the effect useless. On top of that, it is usually deleterious to stand next to teammates.


Make the prism of salvation store up to 50000 life points. Also, make it store the RAW damage. If a damage reduction effect is triggered or is in effect the prisim will still store 10% of the player's life points( If the leviathan ring activates damage taken is 485 but 990 is stored)


Increase the healing area by one to three squares


Make emerald aura stack up to 10%. The 5% max does not really justify the less damage you would have to choose...In fact, it is not even 5% anyway. The ancient spells give a flat 5% reduction instantly. This spell starts at one and goes to five. I would have thought that the cap would have been increased to make up for lower average.


The light form prayer do not do enough to justify the drain rates and they should effect ALL Seren spells. I thought it would be a good idea to make light form have the effect of making shield dome have 25% more damage reduction and/or make the timer for diminishing returns run TWO times faster(One minute instead of two)


Ruby aura has the same problem as emerald aura...


3% is not really worth using it over other spells(maybe it would be with an increased effect area...)


Maybe make it go up to 5% and increase the area by a LARGE amount...Probably 7-9 square area


I would have thought the damage buff would be higher with the update because the player who is using it cannot use it themselves, so this is a STRICTLY team based spell and if you are not in a team, there is no reason to use it. SO...Maybe it should stack up to 7%?


Also...Why is there not a diamond aura? It could level 90 with the best effect there is...(maybe...)


Emerald aura gives less than 5% damage reduction on average because it is not a flat boost like shadow and smoke spells...


Currently, offensive spells give more defence than defensive spells...


And it DOES NOT do the exact same damage.If you have dualwield or a staff you can go to your load out and check the ability damage. I think emerald aura does 20 less damage that ice barrage
