RS: Fate of the Gods 2

Adventurer: "Yo Zarus whut u up 2?"

Zaros: "Designing a hyponecromic porraldixtiure to commune with the Elder Gods to tell them to leave the world alone."

Zamorak: "STOP RIGHT THERE ZAROS. I shall not allow you to design that weapon to use against me for revenge. I shall strike you down HERE AND NOW!"

Zaros: "Get the beep out of my way Zamorak I'm trying to save the world."

Zamorak: "Oh, okay. So we're cool?"

Zaros: "Yes."

Zamorak: "Alright, bye."

Zaros: "Bye."

Honestly a variation of this will probably happen in Fate of the Gods 2. Zaros will be minding his own business and then Zamorak will appear to face him, having learned about his arrival after the Heist, to kill him now before Zaros can strike first since Zamorak still probably thinks Zaros really cares.

A bystander or Zaros will reason with Zamorak and reveal to him that Zaros is trying to save the world and isn't super concerned with revenge, and Zamorak will either decide to help in the effort or will just be forced to leave by Zaros.

I say this because there seems to be so many whiners who don't want Zamorak to die that they'll probably bend the story towards a peaceful outcome just so he'll live. And there's no way they'll allow Zamorak and Zaros to have a real fight since it would just be poor and sloppy story design for Zamorak to lose and escape two battles against other gods in as many Ages. And no, Zamorak has no chance of winning. If you think he does then read through the games' lore five more times then headbutt the computer screen.

I'd love it if Zaros just drop-kicked Zamorak off Freneskae and the quest ended at that but whatever.

Yeah I would assume they'll probably end up having all the gods band together under Zaros to aid in the salvation of Gielinor. Zaros is probably the only one of them who is able to remain borderline emotionless about rivalries. Although Jagex has sent mixed signals on how he feels about Zamorak. In Temple at Senntisten Zaros strikes down a statue of Zamorak when he regains communication with Gielinor, yet later when he is reformed he states that he's pretty calm about everything. So not really sure about that.

All the gods banding together sounds cool except it begs the question what will happen when the problem is dealt with. Zaros' existence will be made public, or at least semi public, so a whole new god wars may break out just because of him existing.

It also begs the question as to how far into the story of Runescape Jagex will go before the game dies. Where they feel is a good cut-off point for them to stop focusing on the world story and just start only doing little insignificant ones.

I have a bad feeling though that Zaros will end up heroically sacrificing himself at one point and then Gielinor will be screwed since ideologically Zaros is the only god whose beliefs are capable of sustaining an entire civilization without the need to destroy all those around it.

I then catch up with Chronicle, who have their eyes on a particular character from RuneScape lore to host tutorial-like sections. We natter about actors that this person is most like, and come up with some example dialogue.
