I think it's cool that jagex decided to revisit the gods lore

With Lord of Vamp**ium upon us and as we get closer to the ending of the Myreque quests, can we expect a massive invasion from Morytania into Misthalin?

The Legacy of Blood book ends with an imminent invasion and I'd just love to see it in a world event, where players have to join efforts to protect Misthalin from all the evil creatures and restore the sacred barrier in the Salve, or not, maybe players would have to go deep into morytania to end the Vampyres' rule over the lands, or maybe the barrier would be gone forever and humans would have to find ways to live with the creatures.

Personally, I think it's cool that jagex decided to revisit the gods lore, but I find that storylines about the humans and creatures that live in Gielinor far more interesting than the gods. I mean, the god wars happened a long time ago and it was over, I didn't see much of a point in bringing that back. Also, creating a portal to another world (Tuska event) is cool, but why go to another planet if there is still SO MUCH to be solved in Gielinor?

Remember the quests about where the humans came from (they entered gielinor through a portal, indicating they lived in another planet/plane)? Maybe now players care more about skilling and don't remember the potential of many quests, but I'd really like to see them addressing these storylines. Imagine how awesome it would be to have a quest where you visit the planet/plane where humans come from? A Morytania invasion would be even more awesome; since the beggining of runescape, people hear about the dreadful lands of Morytania, always fearful of what might happen if the sacred barrier in the Salve disappears. The Vampyres notice that the humans are going to the other world (on tuska's back) and that they are leaving gielinor unprotected and use the opportunity to invade Misthalin.

Anyways, I'd really like to see that kind of thing happening. I dearly hope someone from jagex reads this post and decides to make these quests.

I stand corrected! I always mix up Kandarin and Misthalin.

Well, the people in Morytania live in fear and misery, so I wouldn't be surprised if the werewolves helped in the invasion. They all want to be free from the vampyres' influence, so I'm pretty sure that they would invade Misthalin to start a new, free life.

And vampyres are always looking for more victims to prey upon, so I do think they would like invading Misthalin.

It also begs the question as to how far into the story of Runescape Jagex will go before the game dies. Where they feel is a good cut-off point for them to stop focusing on the world story and just start only doing little insignificant ones.
