DarkScape: Clan dominance would be great

I suggesting something similar to darkscape about 3 years ago but it was more aimed towards clans.

I was told that they did not have the current capabilities to host such an idea. it seems however, that they now do. I do not have a copy of the original so I am writing this from scratch, so it may have slightly altered from before.

The idea is to vastly increase the perks of being in a clan/a clan's influence on their homeworld.

My idea is for clan's to have actual physical control over different portions of runescape. This could be done simply by using the mechanic used for the bandos vs armadyl god war. The towers fought over in this war could be constructed in every area of runescape. (either in specific places or at a regular point distance-wise in a kind of grid. If a clan controlled one of these totems, they would have "influence" over that surrounding area, effectively becoming the ruling force of the region. The NPC population of the regions will pay "tribute" to whichever clan rules them in the form of the resources found in that area.

Being in control of different regions will reap different rewards, based upon a number of criteria:

What natural resource in that area there is.

What the ruling clan prefers.

How long the clan has held that area.

"tribute" will be paid into a clan bank accessed at the clan camp (possibly a neutral area between clans, nobody can own the clan bank area)

Members of a clan will be able to withdraw their share of the tribute from the clan camp bank (shares of the tribute will be divided according to rank)

There could be an initial reward when an area is captured by a clan, but if they capture it again multiple times in a certain time-frame (if the area is being fought over) the initial rewards must not exceed what accrues over time. (this stops clans farming initial rewards)

When a clan has influence over a certain area, the world map would be updated to have that clan's colour represented on the area. (This would be a separate world map compared to the normal one to prevent confusion) The clan's main colour would be the fill-colour of the area with the trim being the borderlines.

Obviously if a clan owns two areas next to each other there shouldnt be a border represented between the two areas on the map.

Whenever a player is walking through an area controlled by a clan, a small symbol of that clan's vexillum and their name should appear near where the danger-level of the area is.

This idea is still in relative infancy, and I would love to hear ideas to improve it and feedback on it.

I had an idea that a clan could place a special kind of control-vexillum which lasted until fought over and taken down by another clan. control-vexillums only being able to be raised a certain distance apart... But I realised that would probably be unrealistcally complicated.
