Check the phone and write the code in Runescape

A pass-word is not secure enought to defend an account, for this reason Jaggex developed Authenticator. Authenticator is 2 step log in that adds an extra layer of protection, the idea is very good, but its really working? Many players still keep losing their accounts today because they dont use Authenticator, its their fault of course, but why they dont use it?

Some just dont care about security, but many others care and still dont use the extra protection, the reasons are:

* With every loggin you have to send a code to your phone, check the phone and write the code in Runescape. Most of the people dont have the time or the patiente of doing this every single day or as many times as the login asks for the code. (And yes repeating this every time is crap)

* Some people dont have phones with internet so they download WinAuth to do the same process but instead on the phone in their computer. If you keep your WinAuth in an USB you have to plug it in and out every time you chek it for codes (with is very crap) and if you keep the program in your Desktop you are risking your account because somebody can copy your program and so the extra protection is simply lost.

The solution:

Today exists a thing that is called Yubikey that is used in 2 step log in for example in Gmail accounts, it adds not only an extra layer protection but this layer is even more secure than using a program or a phone.

NOT TO MENTION, that is very simply and fast to use, you only have to plug in the USB thats all, you dont have to send or check codes anywere. Simply, very fast and very secure. You can buy a USB KEY (Yubikey) for only 20$ or less, its a little money but its a thing you keep for always.

UNFORTUNATELY runescape accounts dont support 2 step login with Yubikeys.

Jagex please, develop a login system to make available an easy, fast and even more secure 2 step login sistem for the users. This thing of reading codes everywere is something many players dont wanna do. Thanks in advance.
