A good few suggestions about Summer Beach Event

While I appreciate Jagex relaunching the Summer Beach Event and adding extra features in addition to last year's beach event content, there are still many improvements to be made - namely the grind for cosmetics and titles. I am not suggesting a poll, but merely giving a list of what could have been added to the Summer Beach Event to make it fun and rewarding.

1) To combat the tight deadlines we currently have relative to last year's event, we can have an extra two months time extension. This is also extremely beneficial to those who need to cap 100 thermometers to get all rewards this year and last years if they missed out last year due to real life circumstances.


2) Not everyone has a fixed schedule where they have the same amount of time to cap daily. Increasing our daily thermometer cap will be helpful to those who has the time to cap, say on Sunday, but no time at all to cap on Monday due to real life issues.


3) Devise a toggle on beach boosters to give the option to speed up thermometer rather than freezing for xp for those who want to sacrifice xp for thermometer cap to get swimsuit and titles faster (in case they dont have the time to cap afterwards)


4) Turn the beach into a fun event that can be PERMANENT content where everyone can get any untradable holiday item and titles they have missed out on - not just the beach. To make it a challenge, Jagex can make the crater that is normally wasted space when beach isnt active, into a bossing and skilling area with safe pvp. Bosses will drop past holiday untradable items and new bosses can be added to the crater with each new holiday event. To accomodate all these bosses we can have a floating arena of multiple floors, housing cities and fields etc, accessible from the crater. I'm thinking similar ideas for wilderness.


5) This is personal issue. The main reason I wanted the 2016 fun top and bottom (Not sure if its 50 or 100 thermometer caps for those who did not get 2015 swimsuit) is because of the long overdue graphical error of lack of navels. Now, this anatomy that completes our avatars are for some reason locked to a select few outfits and fun top and bottom is the only non solomon override to actually display a belly button. Why is that? Surely, we can make navels consistent across all our models. Additionally, the belly button here looks flat and dimensionless due to lack of dimples and crevices. Other than that, my issues with our models include: arms (upper arm is twice as long as the forearm and reaches down to our knees), hands (they are way too big) and knees (they look slightly pixellated and angular). I get it that our models are much better than pre eoc versions, but there is still the issue with consistencies and improvement areas needed for graphical modeling.


I get you use Autodesk Maya for graphical modeling. Use it well.


1) You're missing the point. People are putting the effort in even if they may not be able to claim everything within time limit. And it is Jagexs fault for starting the summer event later than last year you know, so they are the ones shortening the time frame. Don't blame my idea for having my to cross into autumn.


2) The problem is, NOT EVERYONE can CONSISTENTLY play every day. What's wrong with allowing people to make up for what progress they lost due to inconsistent time tables. It won't harm you in the least.


3) Hello Mr. elitist. You have failed to note in your hypocritical response of 'easyscape' that the current boosters in fact makes the game easy as it contributes to functional progress - xp. Meanwhile my idea only contributes to cosmetic side of the game rather than actual progress. Who's supporting 'easyscape' now?


4) Why should a COSMETIC that is UNTRADABLE be prestigious? For me the only reason to get them is because they look pretty. Besides I have suggested making a challenge to get these items with hard bosses inside a pk environment consisting of a floating castle of 100 floors and city areas to clear.
